A digital dental impression is a virtual scan that creates a computer-generated model of the hard and soft tissues of the mouth. This technology allows Dr. Foss to view your teeth on a computer screen rather than with the traditional methods of molds with impression material (aka no more gagging!). After the quick, less than 2 minute, scan is finished, the digital impression is sent to a lab where your dental restoration can be made quickly and more accurately than ever before.
